THE MOOSE JOINS 70TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING! The first Solo Legend to join in the 70th Anniversary meeting of the Mildura Motorcycle Club on Sunday November the 5th at Olympic Park Speedway is none other than the Merbein Hills favourite son TRAVIS MCGOWAN. The Moose spent over 10 years racing professionally in Europe having spells with clubs such as Swindon, Oxford, Kings Lynn and Reading. McGowan is also a former Australian under 16 and under 21 Champion and represented his country in the Speedway World Cup in 2006 riding alongside riders such as Adams, Crump, Wiltshire and Sullivan. The Moose was pretty handy around his home track beating Leigh Adams and Jason Crump in the same heat in a Australian title around at Olympic Park and was also known to do a victory burn out for the boys on the Merbein Hill after the final. We look forward to seeing Trav back in action!
