Side Cars Racing - Mildura Motorcycle Club

FREE SPEEDWAY TICKETS FOR SUNRAYSIA STUDENTS! A “Season Start” initiative from the Mildura Motorcycle Club will see all local students be able to take advantage of Free Season Speedway tickets for the 2016/17 season.

The Club is trying to make Speedway Family Entertainment affordable to all district residents and tickets will be disbursed through each Primary and Secondary School in the area.

Students are asked to enquire at School this week for availability of their FREE – SEASON’s TICKET.

The first chance for youngsters to use their pass will be at the running of the “GT Online Windscreens”, Phil Crump International Trophy event on Friday October 28..

Local School Principals are right behind the move, which will allow so many more kids to be exposed to the opportunities that a local International sport offers.

Olympic Park Speedway has been such a strong breeding ground for so many young riders over the last 35 years and have been able to make speedway their livelihood in Europe and Australia due to the great facility, training and coaching which is offered.

The first meeting for the year will be on Friday 28th October and will include two World Speedway Champions in the field.

The Phil Crump Trophy meeting will include Three times World Speedway Champion, Jason Crump, who will ride in his father’s Tribute meeting for the first time as will newly crowned World Under 21 Speedway Champion Max Fricke, from Mansfield, who is the defending Phil Crump Trophy winner from last year.

Crump junior, won the World Under 21 Championship in 1995 and followed up with his major successes as World Speedway Champion in 2004, 2006 and 2009 in what was one of the toughest eras in International speedway.

Fricke, on the other hand won his World Under 21 Championship at the end of a three round series, the final meeting of which was in Gdansk, Poland just two weeks ago. Speedway Grand Prix star, Sam Masters will join local riders, Justin Sedgmen and Cameron Woodward. Sedgmen and Woodward are both beneficiaries of the Olympic Park Speedway program and have been able to form successful careers overseas.

Gates will open for the Phil Crump Trophy at 5:00pm, with kids with their Free tickets asked to be accompanied by an adult and present to the Main gate for their entry
