German Team Join Phil Crump International Solo Trophy

2014 World Longtrack Speedway Champion Erik Riss and his German teammates in brother Mark Riss,Michael Hartel, Valentin Grobsuer and Kai Huckenbeck are the latest big names to join the 2015 GT Windscreens Phil Crump International Solo Trophy on Monday November the 2nd at Olympic Park Speedway Mildura. The Riss brothers Erik and Mark are the sons of legendary multiple World Longtrack Champion Gerd Riss. Erik himself is starting to make a name for himself in the speedway scene having won the World Longtrack title himself at only the tender age of 19! Erik is also a teammate of our very own local Justin Sedgmen at the Edinburgh Monarchs. Mark Riss, Michael Hartel, and Valentin Grobsuer will all partner Erik in the 2015 Coomealla Memoiral Sporting Club FIM under 21 Team Speedway World Championship Final on Saturday October 31st while Kai Huckenbeck the 2012 and 13 German Under 21 Champion is the reserve for the team. Tickets for both the Phil Crump Trophy and the world under 21 Championship can be purchased online from www.milduramotorcycleclub.org.au and the setts business centre on 8th street or at the gate.
